Yes that is a work of art. I dont think I've ever seen one like it. It almost looks like some kind of commercial application. Like for a motel or something. Yet very fancy looking at the same time. I would love it inmy living room but I am at a standstill. I simply don't have the space. I have a guy holding a free round tube color set until I can justify bringing it home. I'm single so I could start selling off furniture to make room for more sets. The couch will get me three sets. I will definitly always be single. Possibly a plus. Is anybody with me???

I like that one too! Looks immaculate inside.

The tuner looks similar to the variable tuner in my older
12" Raytheon.

It's mounted sideways in the back of this set so there must be some sort of gear or pulley arrangement to make it work?

Interesting...it's got yoke rot. Just like many early RCA color sets. He spliced the cord and plugged it in. Yikes! That can't be good. Very nice looking, clean set though.

I like the bezel and control panel, although the drab covering kinda turns me off. Would look better with something like the Black Stag leatherette used on Zenith TransOceanic radios.

Sitting on a firehouse shelf suggests that it might have a zillion miles on it. Played to death 20 hours a day and then shelved to make room for a replacement . . . ?

What's that "Raytenna" about, anyhow? An antenna trimmer as found in old boatanchor radios, connected to a small onboard antenna stapled inside the case?
