If i'm not mistaken, I thought Jordans set had a weak crt and good chassis. This one is reverse with good crt and needs recapping. Jordan will let us know :) I love these sets although they weigh a ton for the size. Good picture when working properly though.

That is indeed my set. I found a CRT from another set that fits fine. I had been using it un-restored up until about 4 months ago when it started having vertical troubles. It also had a noisy B line due to a filter going south.

I have far too little space and too many projects to continue to house this set. I would really like to find it a good home where it can be lovingly restored to what it once was.

If anyone here wants it, you're welcome to it.

Is there any chance you'll be heading anywhere toward Orange (or even LA) County anytime soon :scratch2: ? Let me know, because I'd sure be interested in that set. I never check PMs, so eMail or call if there might be a way to go on this... Maybe I could trade you a MUCH LARGER item? (just kidding)

Shame this thread wasn't up ealier. I was in the LA area on the 28th. If I had known I would have dragged it up with me.

However, I don't know when I would be able to get my hands on a truck again...

If you can find someone to 'pony express' it up there I have no problem with it, but I don't think I'll be traveling up there anytime soon. :(
