?

Since when did Zentih supply chassis' for other makes? That set looks very "euro".

Is that a "frankenset"?

It looks too well-done to be homemade. The TV back does look like a Zenith part. But the front? No CRT Bezel? :scratch2:

It's from Canada, that splains it, maybe? :scratch2:

Only if it was covered in snow & maple syrup. :D

I believe that CSA (the canadian electrical safety bureau, basically our version of UL) specs that a CRT face couldn't protrude the outer front edge of a set's cabinet. The reason may be attributed to what could happen if the set flopped forward... Bwoom!

I always liked the look of the European "boob tube" sticking out the front of the cabinet though.

Definitely looks European. And that isn't a Zenith chassis that I've ever seen... Almost resembles a Curtis-Mathes B&W chassis. Looks like a Zenith CRT neck cup though. Weird!

I agree that it isn't home-brew.

See that big "notch" cut out in the upper left corner of the back? Looks very Zenith-y. Big power transformer too...
