Normally I can't find a good deal in these type places to save my life but today was different.
Found this Blue & Grey 14" RCA 7069, it's nearly identical to the 7070G except it has a Bakelite handle instead of the always missing leather one.
It was missing a couple knobs and the speaker but I have a Red 7070 in poor shape that I can use for a parts donor, note the speaker grille is kinda reddish and the two red knobs but a little paint will fix that.
Case is actually in good shape but could use some soap and water.
The CRT was kind of slow to come up the first time but I just let it warm up and it goes way up into the green now so it should be OK.
:thmbsp:
With the help of some Deoxit and wiggling some tubes around I got it to fire up and get sound and raster, but i couldn't get horiz sync because the caps have gotten so leaky.
So glad I found it cause having only 100 or so old TV's in your house just isn't enough...:scratch2:
