Hi, guys. I just won this Motorola on ebay. Can somebody find me the missing knobs, and a proper schematic for it? Other than that, you convinced I'm crazy? Let me know what you think. Bill Cahill

Congrats Bill,

I just purchased a group of 8mm color films last weekend, and a set quite similar to this is seen operating in the basement on newyear's eve 1960. Very Cool! Glad to see that this set will be saved.

We've always known your were crazy Bill :) but it looks like you grabbed another goodie. I have the 10 inch version of that set and i know you'll love the results when you get it restored. Lots of room underneath the chassis too! Good thing about these is that their more of a mini console so its not going to be a room hog either. Congrats!

Thanks, guys. The only thing I really hate about this set is it is sereies string! No power tranny.....:thumbsdn:

I do plan on saving it, though. Just didn't seem right to let someone turn this one into another fish tank.:nono:

I won't have it for awhile though.
Oh, well. Now that my customer's car radio is nearly finnished, I put my favorite projicts back up, including my replacement family tv. RCA Victor 6T74. Looking forward to getting that set done.

If I had known that set was close to me, you wouldn't have gotten it so cheap! :D
