Just started watching "Sands of Oblivion" on the Scifi channel, and who do I see? Mr. Kennedy! Looks like it's hard for him to get around now, but heck, it looked like that 30 years ago too. It's just cool to see him. Don't know how far he'll make it into the film, got a feeling he's gonna get swallowed up by a burried mummy or something. You go George! "Sands of Oblivion" appears to be a story about a documentary crew looking into Cecil B. Demil's last movie. Kennedy was a boy on that movie set, somewhere in the middle eastern desert. He buries a time capsule as a boy, and flash forward, he helps the crew find the old set, which was suspiciously closed down before they ever finished filming. Creepy powers abound when they uncover why the movie stopped production and destroyed and buried the old site.

Always liked George, thought he was great in that Clint Eastwood flick, "Thunderbolt & Lightfoot". Remember reading somewhere he also was a Cessna 182 pilot in real life, that's the plane I learned to fly on.

Sure did some fun films. Must have done a TON of them also.

182, huh? I started my training on a 172.

One of the best movies ever made features ol' George: "Cool hand Luke".

I remember George as King Of The Disaster Movie back in the 70's.I always thought of him as the better looking version of Ernest Borgnine.

i was a featured extra in one of the Dallas follow-ons about ten years ago; we shot in a local strip club, and GK was in the middle of the shot. when we finally wrapped the set, GK, surrounded by several of the girls in the shot, stood up and dropped his costume right there, w/o waiting to go to the dressing room. just dropped trou and took off the shirt, and yelled for somebody to bring him a robe.
