Not a color roundie. A 19" Black and white Dumont.

It is a Du Mont from ~1950. A roundie I suppose...technically...but not a color set.

Would STILL be a neat set to get & restore...

I have no interest in these but thought someone from the forum may be interested. I am in southeastern VA and can pick it up if you folks give me an idea of value. I can store it if there is any interest until you can make arrangements to come get it.

DuMont's of that era are overbuilt-a real tank. Those big round picture tubes like this are a weak point but either way, a nice enough set to grab.

That's not one of their more attractive designs. It appears to be an RA-103D chassis shotgun-wedded to a 19" tube. It looks almost like a hobbyist's project using a generic after-market cabinet. I don't think it is...but it looks that bad.

I will let it pass. Just wanted to make sure no one wanted it.
Thanks for all of the info.

Steve,
:lmao::lmao:
Great to wake up in the morning to this post! I was wondering about that in your signature and now I understand - and agree!
Truly have no knowledge about these TV's but didn't want it to get thrown away of it was worth something to someone fairly close.
