FWIW, I had a really hard time with "The Good Shepard" recently; just never drew me in. Kept waiting for something engaging; never happened.

Also, I've always had a hard time with "On Her Majesty's Secret Service". Some folks rave about Lazenby as being true to Flemings Bond, but the direction just seemed too dated, wooden, and stilted to me, as did some of the sets and costumes.

This takes the cake in the "Oh,Come on!" category.Harrison finds his kidnapped family because their dog,who the kidnappers let them take with them to their super secret hideout,had a GPS tracking collar!

I wont even mention trying to kill junior with a cookie,or Harrison the security expert trying to outsmart the badguy by typing way-secret-like while the baddie is nearby.

Oh,and when Harrison finds the dog,its been left on the side of the road,so now hes puzzled:Oh where oh where can the family be????Hey,dude,maybe they are in the lone house at the top of the little dirt road you found the damn dog on?

Ive seen worse films,but very few of them had the talent or the budget on display with this flaming turd.

Plot leaks, soooooo many of them.

Breaking into a governemnt installation with GIANT air vent (possible recycled from the series Voyage to the bottom of the Sea) with sensors that can detect a fly, any yet giant rats go running around without a blip. The falls into the computer room and again doesn't set anything off, a man walks in, you can see the room reflection in the room and yet the man looking down, can't see the reflection of Cruise above him.


I haven't seen the movie in years, once was too much, but a scene couldn't go by without finding a plot error.

Worst movies ever made? Just like music, the downward spiral started in the 80's. Now everything is either a Biopic (How Original) or CGI Action that's like watching a video game. Fortunately there are so many great movies just like music to look out for. When the hell are they going to release "The List Of Adrian Messenger"?

The Adventures of Pluto Nash, Indian Summer, any "return of Brady Bunch" movies.

Cabin Boy, I got it, watched it, and I gotta be honest, liked it! There were a couple of good laughs early on.

Yes, it got a bit slow. And I have no idea who the audience was supposed to be (it seemed dated with requisite early 90's cussing; not unlike the 1984 Star Trek IV). But Chris Elliot played an amusing spoiled brat rich-kid dandy character IMO.

Attack of the Killer Tomatoes. Say no more.

Mission Impossible, by the time the movie got going it was too late. We went to a late night show, when we walked out we were all making excuses for it, until Tim, who "snuck"out of the house from his wife to watch it, Just came out and said "That Sucked".

Snakes on a Plane (2006)

This came on HBO last night and I thought I'd check out what all the pre-release Internet buzz was about. This film was so bad at times it was hilarious; unfortunately the laughs were few and far between and interspersed with groans and tedium. It was like watching one of the old Airport disaster flicks with cartoon CGI snakes! I laughed my a$$ off when the first girl was bit right on her breast/nipple. From there it just went downhill. This film is listed as action/adventure/thriller on IMDB but I think the writers may have been trying to write a comedic spoof of those old Airport movies and just completely missed the mark. If they weren't then I don't know what they were thinking - no way anyone involed in making this thing could have taken it seriously. How much did they have to pay Samuel L. Jackson to star in this dog?

One of my all-time stinkers is Practical Magic with Nicole (I'm a goddess) Kidman and Sandra Bullock. You would think their looks alone could carry this movie but no. :no: There is nothing redeeming about this movie so don't waste your time watching it.

I can only remember that track being used in "The Long Kiss Goodnight" (Geena Davis, Samuel L Jackson) - which wasn't a bad movie except towards the end.

This they did, but IIRC, they were Germans, & as Germans they over-engineered it, und it came out so damn cute you could catch diabetes from watching it, the flick was so sweet & sugary...

Watching "Chitty-Chitty Bang-Bang" on TV right now. Wonderful kiddie flick, was 11 when it came out. Amazing EFX, since in '68 they didn't have a tenth of the tricks up their sleeves as they do now...That was the 1st kiddie flick I remember where they mass-merchandised eveything about it...You couldn't turn the TV on that summer that there wasn't some "CCBB" tie in-toys, trinkets, the works. Nice to see Benny Hill & Gert Frobe again...

Cloth Ears- Your choice of movie (dead cops still running around) I believe "starred" Treat Williams and Joe Piscopo. I think it was titled Dead Heat. Yes, it stank!!! Sampled dialog " you don't smell so good" " well hell- you've only been dead two days-and you ain't so fresh either" Something like that. Kind of a goofy charm to it, though.

The biggest clunker was Higher learning, without a doubt, to me, at least.

I'm sure you've seen "A Beautiful Mind" Now that's a great film. A true story. Won 4 Academy Awards, including Best Picture. I don't give a damn about the "Academy" but it really was a good movie. Check it out if you haven't :thmbsp:

Yeah, this is part of the problem with junky flicks. Gimme storylines and endings like the ones in "The Sixth Sense", for example.

I nominate Beowolf as the biggest flop of whale dung ever made,i tried several times to watch that terrible movie with no success,i even tried to fall asleep with the movie on but the script was so s#itty every few minutes i'd get pissed off,till i finally turned it off for good.

Crappy script,crappy plot,3rd rate acting & the worst application of 3d i can imagine.

Im glad Im not alone on this one.What a joke.The animation looks silly,the script is laughable when its supposed to be serious.I give action films a lot of leeway,but even so,this just didnt do it for me.

Out of curiosity, how does the "crappy script" compare to the original millennium old poem that sourced the story? Did they keep to it or branch out horribly, such as with Christopher Lambert's take on Beowulf. I've been tempted to watch this movie, but I tend to avoid CGI movies (and WireFu for related reasons). If it's close to the original poem, then my English literature background will drive me to the theater, if not, then the heck with it.
