From the Swap Board a while back;

"I have a top-of-the-line 1981 Mitsubishi VS 505U Color Projection TV. This is a front projection TV that folds up to look like a cabinet, and has the three color tubes with a front mirror to reflect the image onto the screen. The unit was working daily until I put it in storage a few months ago. Despite its age it is in perfect condition. It includes a VE 505U 30" x 40" removable screen. I even have the original remote control."

It is every bit as good as described in remarkable condition. The fold-out mirror shoots in to the screen surrounded by same veneer finish as the base. The CRT's were replaced about 10 years ago with few hours on them since. It just powered up and ran...except...

The horizontal is out just a bit. And no sign of a customer horizontal control. Nothing on the chassis' is marked either. Just a bunch of variable resistors for unknown functions. I did spot a coil to the right of the flyback under a CRT. L505. The only coil in sight.

Does anyone have documents or remember the setup for this beast. And help with the focus and drive locations would be good too. Web searches for paperwork ran dry. No photos today. I'll add them next week.

My thanks to hammr7 from the audio side of AK for this.
