Does anyone know where can I locate a Panasonic PV-MS2750 27" TV/S-VHS VCR combo? Does anyone here have one? It's a 1990 model and was the only TV/S-VHS VCR ever made. This has been my dream model for many years, but no one seems to have one, so I am not able to get one used. I know only less than 2,000 units were made. Are they all in the landfill by now or are people still hanging on to it?

I had one a couple of years ago, but I sold it soon after I got it. I picked it up next to a dumpster (I wouldn't have bothered, but I had never seen an SVHS TV/VCR combo before). It had a few odd problems, but worked well after everything was fixed. It was also the only dual tuner TV/VCR I had ever seen.

How was the picture quality and what problems were there? Looks like I may have no chance on getting one. :tears:

The TV was about what you would expect from one of the better early 90's Panasonics. The VCR was their one motor design which I have never liked. It's very slow to change modes and has a complex gear system that can jump timing easily.

It had a pincushion problem that was caused by part of the ferrite core coming off a coil in the deflection circuit. That took a while to figure out because the coil looked fine and the circuit appeard to be working as designed. It was only when I noticed a ferrite cup sitting in the bottom of the cabinet that I figured it out. Gluing it back on the coil fixed the problem.

The other problem was an intermittent picture. That was caused by a bad transistor in the on screen display circuit.

Just want to update this thread since it's #1 on Google. If anyone out there in United States owns a Panasonic PV-MS2750 27" SVHS/TV combo and decides to sell it, contact me. Reward is anywhere between $50 (abused, major crack, and broken), $100 (daily use), $500 (in guest room), $1,000 (like new), to $2,000 (brand new in its original box), depending on condition. I will also buy non-working units. I may also consider a Panasonic PV-M2730 at half the price above, respectively. I would rather take home a NIB Panasonic PV-MS2750 than a NIB 50" 1080P Panasonic plasma HDTV, even at the same price. Don't attempt to recycle it. Thanks.

What a huge joke and a spoil new year's day from this person who asked me if she has this TV. After all the anxious waiting and sleepless nights, it ends up being a Panasonic PV-C1332W 13" TV/VHS combo, made in the cheaply 2002, not the PV-MS2750 27" TV/S-VHS combo, made in 1990, I am looking. She demands $1,000 for the PV-C1332W. Please... :boring:

If you own a PV-M2730 or PV-MS2750, and want to sell it too me, please let me know. I am only interested in these models. Please verify the models by looking at the back of the TV prior to posting.
