I think I have a few of the clear number plates for this set.

drh4683 03-14-2007, 06:03 PM interesting channel selector design. Before I saw the close ups, I though it was a rigged up knob.
Its funny how these roundies keep showing up. I wish more tube type rectangulars would show up as they are as rare as roundies.

compucat 03-21-2007, 11:23 AM I can't believe that didn't sell. It's beautiful and it works. I looks like with very little effort someone could have a good daily watcher and a lovely piece of furniture. I bet it sounds great with those two big speakers in that wood cabinet.
bgadow 03-21-2007, 12:57 PM Further proof of how fickle the TV hobby is. This should be a great set, the cabinet is very similiar to my CTC-15 which is the best looking cabinet I have. There has to be someone willing to drive up there and get it.
Bill R 03-21-2007, 11:54 PM I would love to have it, I just have no way to get it right now. No time off.

Bill RThats exactly my problem for getting it too or I would. I just wish I lived about 1000 miles closer to Massachussetts.

Please don't throw it away, perhaps you could list it this site in the TV swap/parts wanted forum. I know it takes up a lot of space, Thanks for offering it to a good home.
Richard.
old_tv_nut 03-23-2007, 09:02 PM I would have bid immediately if I had any way to pick it up - hate to leave something like this go, but I always must, unless there is a shipping miracle in the offing.
Richard D 03-23-2007, 09:07 PM Yes I know, living in South Florida it seems that all of the neat tube TVs I want(meaning big and heavy) are always at least 1,000 miles away.

Your TV would be nice as my first color set, to add to my pre-1950 B&W sets. Maybe I should find out how it could be shipped all the way here to California? I do hope you find a good home for it.
Another ctc16 on ebay.

Doug,
I have an Rca entertainment system with the 25axp22 tube in it. I probably won't keep this unit, I still have two ctc9's and a ctc 5 to finish up. Along with the 29jc20 and the Curtis Mathes home entertainment unit. I don't know when I would ever have time to restore the Rca unit, if interested in it let me know, may we can work out a trade of some sort.
radotvguy 04-17-2007, 03:10 PM i have a rca entertainment unit as well with a 25ap22 . I wonder if yurs is the same one i got .
