That Magnavox, sounds interesting - what cabinet style, I think there were only three styles for color theatre in 1963. Chassis Series 41 or 43? I know the "37" TV chassis was a CTC12 clone.

Ok a new offer, I did sell a CTC-16 on eBay to a local collector. My new offer is all the sets listed minus the swivel bases 16 plus a 1950 GE B&W roundie set(10") CRT is in excellent condition, set works. cabinet needs work. All for $100. I might be moving and cannot take them with me. I still have some sets I'll keep. They WILL need to be picked up within a month if interested. Sets are kind of buried in the garage. I can get the GE pic easy enough and possibly the Admiral.. I CANNOT SHIP SO DONT ASK!

Wish you weren't so far away. A great deal and I would probably take them all, but they may as well be on mars right now.

Same problem...I'd love to have that Maggie combo and I'd probably not walk away from any of the other stuff (if it were local) however a 26-hour drive 1 way and ~$630 bucks in gas for the suburban just don't make it worth it.

OK LAST OFFER. Come get them for free! I'm not far from Seattle or Portland or Northern CA(A days drive). A good way to have an instant collection! Otherwise I will be forced to part them out but prefer not to. Bring a trailer since it all wont fit into a standard truck. PM me if interested. Thanks

I'd happily take at least the CTC-16 and Admiral if we weren't separated by 800+ miles of the wide open west. Good luck, I really hope someone can save them but unfortunately your location makes it logistically unfeasible for about 95% of us.

I briefly pondered going for the maggie aircraft carrier (if I liked the cabinet) and whatever else would fit in/on my suburban, but until I'm over this flu no crazy cross-country trips for me...

This thread touches on an important recurring theme...As TV collectors we need to at the very least understand the logistics involved in downsizing/getting out of the hobby, and make sure our plans will(not just can) practically do it before dumpster time is reached.

If I were in your shoes I'd rent a Uhaul and either take them with me or get them to the ETF to sell in spring...

It's just as far to go to Ohio as for someone to come here. It needs to be someone from the west coast or Wyoming or Nebraska
