I would pay anything from $500.00 To $1500 depending
on condition. I looked at the prices you had described above. I googled the ctc 4 and ctc 9. They both look nice. But I don't think I'd pay over 1500 though really. Not saying I wanna get something for $50.00 know that won't happen. But I am on a somewhat fixed income.

Where are you located? Shipping one of these beasts can be expensive (I know, I've done it).

NE Pennsylvania, from page 1.

You're probably closer to Tim, surprised he hasn't been in here yet.

You should come to the ETF convention in early May, if you can't score something there you can't score it anywhere. lol

In Hilliard (Columbus), Ohio at the Early Television Foundation museum: http://www.earlytelevision.org/index.html

A lot of interesting and varied sets to look at. Attendees will bring some for sale and auction.

I moved the thread; it's really more of a wanted ad than a discussion of early color. It belongs in the classifieds.

Do you even have a classifieds section on here. That's where I originally wanted to post the ad but couldn't find it.

Yep, I have access to plenty of color sets. Pick your poison

Picking this up next weekend, but it's not going anywhere . However, it becomes a "place your order" situation. At least a dozen tube color sets have come through my hands this year already....probably closer to 20.

If you are ever down in VA near North Carolina via US 220, I have a 64 or 65 Zenith floor model, but the cabinet is metal. It works, but needs a little t.l.c. like dynamic convergence setup and maybe a capacitor or three in the horizontal output circuitry to keep the current down. I just run it on a Variac for now. No problem...
