Here's all my for sale stuff in one post.

1. Zenith sideways loading VCR (There's a metal cover that the tape rubs against, with the cover removed it works fine. No remote.) - $40

3. 1975 Zenith 8-track recorder (working) - $40

4. early-80's Quasar top-loader VCR (not working) - comes with the original wired remote! - $20

5. Zenith Transoceanic G500, missing the wave magnet antenna but the cabinet is in nice condition otherwise, not working - $80

6. partial Motorola VT71 cabinet (some veneer is missing off of one side) - Free

7. Zenith bakelite white AM radio ~1951 not working, missing antenna (but has the back) - $20

8. Zenith C845 hi-fi AM/FM radio 1959, I recapped this one, works - $40

9. Zenith hi-fi AM/FM radio, 1967, this one uses the electrostatic tweeter, all I did was replace the dial light and clean controls, works great - $40

10. 1953 Philco AM tube portable in a red plastic cabinet, not working - $30

11. 1949 GE AM tube portable radio, On this one, I not only recapped, but had to replace several tubes, and one of the IF transformers and realign - $30

12. 1971 Zenith 12" b/w in a yellow cabinet - cabinet in good condition, antenna unbroken, tube chassis, can be watched as is but needs a yoke, good strong crt - $40

13. 1951 Motorola 14" b/w in a bakelite cabinet - no back, knobs, tubes. I have the power transformer, but it is not connected. - $20

14. 1957 Zenith 14" "bugeye" in a blue/white cabinet - untested, there's some dents on the sides, two of the small knobs on the top are broken, but the antenna and back are in good condition - $100

15. 8BP4 - I plugged it into a set that takes a 7JP4, it works good (see pic) - $100

Got the Beltron and Sencore today, thanks Tim. Great timing too, since I'm stuck inside thanks to a wonderful spring snow storm. Excellent packing job and everything arrived safely. Only thing was I couldn't figure out the latches on the Beltron case. Long story short, I broke them trying to get the thing open. Oh well, I'm still learnings this stuff, and it doesn't affect functionality. I did test my 17LP4 and surprisingly it's good. Original tube + obviously high hours set = I wasn't optimistic. But hey, it's good to be wrong sometimes.

Talking Down to the wire!!

Leaving tomorrow morning around 9 AM sharp (contradiction in terms?)

My cell's (315)879-5518....I'll try to keep up on the latest goings on. If anyone wants to meet up for dinner tomorrow night, the plan at the moment is to hit the Supreme Buffet and Hibachi Grill:

1323 W Saint James Lutheran Way,
Columbus OH 43228

Time TBD......

Just got a message that we may be going there Friday night instead....so looks like plans may be up in the air. Ron, what the heck is the name of that restaurant that a lot of people usually go to down there for the convention? Not the Rusty Bucket, the other one.....

Sure do wish I coulda been there-I have, arguably, the best vehicle to sally forth to a Soiree' like this- a Y2K Ford Excursion. In my 16 yrs of ownership, I have NEVER really come remotely close to loading it down-By VOLUME, in any case. If I could just "Wean it Off" of using so much gas- A V-10, 4WD, & my admittedly heavy foot conspire against me..

Next time I take the Lincoln MarkV to the meet I ought to offer you a ride to the ETF, Sandy. If your gunna waste gas may as well do it in style with very little hauling utility for a car longer than a cheby burban.

Count me in for dinner Friday evening! I will leave the house early Friday morning, I plan to be in Hilliard no later than noon, Friday. I already have my truck about 95 percent packed! Looking forward to seeing everyone!

I saw in the auction there was a B&K 415, and a 1077B. I lost both of mine in the fire. I would be interested to know if these are complete, working , and with the probes and slides. Lost all my test equipment, except a few vintage pieces I still had to restore.
