I could use the UHF and volume knobs for a Motorola and the UHF for a Panasonic and a Hitatchi. Moto up top: ![]() Pana bottom set: ![]() Hitatchi top: ![]() Closeup of knobs: ![]() I've got service lit I can take pix of later that show the knobs better. I really ought to update the thread on the haul those sets are from. All are much cleaner and the Moto and Panny now live...The Hitatchi probably needs a recap, but definitely needs a 6JS6/6KD6. I installed all the tubes it was missing 2 days ago, but my only 6JS6 is almost totally dead (needs 9v to give usable emission). That set is going to hit the bench soon. I could use a good 10BP4 for a rare set that is slated to hit the bench sometime after the ETF. EDIT: also could use a good top panel (no gouges/water damage) for an 8TS30...IIRC the 630 top panel should also work. Also could use a 10M focus pot for that tube color moto.

Hey Tom,
What rare set needs a 10BP4? I could be talked out of one of mine... I have a shelf full of them. Everything from marginal pulls, to NOS, both 10BP4s and 10FP4s. |

A Stweart Warner Mirror in lid. Heater is open on the one in it.
I already have another deal pending on a 10BP4...I'll let you know if it falls through.

The Stewart-Warner mirror-in-lids should have 10FP4s in them, at least according to the Sam's... the brighter picture does help with a mirror-in-lid set.
Oh, and I thought of another set I'm looking for (but likely will never find): I'm looking for a tabletop DuMont RA-105, with the squared off CRT mask and the 15AP4 CRT. Blonde preferred, but beggars can't be choosers. |

I have a Sencore CG-141 color generator available. Tested and working. Case worn but intact. Some rust on the handle. Has a mirror in the lid for viewing the CRT while adjusting rear mounted controls. The mirror has some spots where the silvering is worn off, can be seen in the photo. $12.00.
I also have a Beltron CRT tester, restorer. Completely gone through and verified to be correct. The case is in rough shape however does not affect functionality. Setup charts included. Sockets for early B/W and Color. I can supply a hard case briefcase that is the appropriate size if the buyer wants to do a transplant. $35.00 Can deliver both to ETF or Kutztown. Shipping available.

I just picked up a 10" Admiral bakelite console. I'll be looking for a back for that as well as one for the Motorola TS-18 and the Delco porthole from my other post.

Wanted pencil box door/lower gold face plate and possibly the schematic for Admiral model 17K12.
The bakelite cleaned up nicely. That white bezel was house paint...It was gold underneath originally (hosing it off flaked some of the white off to reveal worn gold) Stripped that off and hit it with gold spray paint...It looks real sharp now. Only have before pic presently. ![]()

If anyone has any prehistoric 01A tubes (or 201A, 301A) tested or not I really need 4. Radio I'm working on, 4 out of 5 are open filament

I'm in desperate need of a 12KP4. I could also use a 12VP4 or 10MP4, but I have a feeling hell will have long been frozen over by the time either of those two tubes would pop up on the radar.

What set(s) use a 12KP4?

I need it for that Sylvania. I know John Yurkon had issues getting a 12LP4 to work due to the lower HV the Sylvania chassis puts out. If I can get a 12KP4, with a straight gun, I won't have to dicker with the ion trap issues. I can just focus on building the multiplier to feed ~250 volts to the second grid of the 12KP4.
That's assuming someone doesn't come to the rescue with a good 12VP4... The ETF had a 12KP4A listed, I contacted Steve about it, arranged to buy it, and then when I went to pay for it, discovered the tube was gone ![]() Oh well, nothing I can do but beg until I find someone with a spare... |
