I could use a nice scratch free black tinted 23V color rectangular safety glass...I had one crack on a tube I just got the cat off of...At least the CRT survived the destruction of the safety glass.

Here's another freebie

The first two beer aficionados that will be at the meet that post "ME!" will get a special gift of a 12 pack bottles of Sleeman's Honey Brown Ale from Canada. A thank you given to me by a friend, and though I love the stuff, beer makes me really really sleepy.....

If a 5 amp variac will do, I have one I can spare. Not ideal for color tube sets, but for black and white it'll work fine.

Johnny Cash's "one piece at a time" is my personal favorite. Always wanted to do one about color TV's since Johnny died on my Birthday . Id just substitute an RCA color TV for the Cadillac..... Threw a few small screen '40s sets in the car at the last minute to sell or trade. See you guys there!

My cell is (315)879-5518 if anyone's arriving in today. I'll probably be in town no later than 2 or 3.

You still interested in that 13" RCA, Tim? I need to know if I should bring it before noon central time today.

Got back about 2 hrs ago.

Tim, a car ride did wonders for that Tele-tone.

I just have to get it to fill out the screen, and get rid of that video noise. I think is an alignment, or (internal) interference issue.

Nice! I think you'll get a lot of enjoyment out of that set once you work out a couple bugs. It's really not far off

Here's some pics I shot of the meet. There were about a dozen of us TV guys that made it. A small crowd, but it was well worth attending. The museum got a hoard of donated radios, which we all picked through. I would bet that the museum sold several hundred bucks worth of stuff to us in the short time we were all there.

The CTC-16 is mine . OS X ended up picking up a CTC-7 Pensbury on the way in along with a couple rectangular color sets, assorted consoles, and a 630TS. Since he brought my 16 back to Buffalo, I filled my Cadillac with half a dozen portable/table sets of his. An effective plan
