Smile Sets for Sale

Heres some of my TV sets i'm looking to sell/trade. I would prefer to trade for some other sets rather than sell but I'm open to offers

GE coaxial remote set in good shape previous owner recaped it and I believe it has a NOS CRT in it, was working good other then the audio was off sync with the Channel it was on, then one day as the set warmed up the brightness would just increase by itself and the brightness control would not do much. Also could not get the remote to work but the tubes in the remote receiver light up. May just be something simple as I have not even tested the tubes yet but I'm not really sure what's wrong with it but it still makes a picture and the motor driven tuning works flawlessly, I like this set but I have had it for a while now and its time it goes to a new owner. (SOLD)

12in Zenith B&W Tube portable: Works good no issues!.

RCA sportabout with original cart: Works good no issues was my first ever vacuum tube TV I never had any issue with it.

#2 RCA sportabout with Non original cart: Cart not in the picture but fits this set good, I never powered up this set or did anything with it but it's in good shape I will test it out if anyone is interested. (SOLD)

Zenith metal table top: Works good but could use recaped as vertical is short by one inch. The picture of it is displaying a 16:9 program, with a 4:3 video feed the screen is mostly filled.

RCA Corner console: CRT test good and chassis is complete unfortunately mice have started to build their nest in there, I cleaned it out and there's not really any damage but does still have a little bit of smell that needs to be aired out also needs dial knob as the plastic one that's on it is cracked.

Sears silvertone B&W Set: Works flawlessly for hours when it works, but has a issue where sometimes there is no power to any thing except the dial light this is a series strong set so I'm suspecting a loose connection or bad ground possibly.

Sylvania Halo light: Ok (not great but good) CRT, plastic socket at the end of the CRT is cracked but the tube is still under vacuum and the pens of the sockets are fine and CRT tests ok. Every thing else is in good shape although it's missing the CRT cardboard protection box on the back cover. Have 5 other halo lights so I might pass this one along to someone else.

Also have this early to mid 50s Emerson. Can't find a model number on the inside. Has a 17" tube. Chassis is clean, complete, and the picture tube tests great.

Free! PM for dibs.

I can't make it to the convention, but if you're passing through Lansing MI, I would trade sets for either or both of those RCAs. I'd trade 1 set for either RCA, or 2 sets for both: '69 Zenith 22" B&W in the metal cabinet with the original cart, or a '71 Zenith 12" b/w in a yellow plastic cabinet, or a '58 Philco Seventeener III with UHF in an orange cabinet.

I'm mostley looking to trade for consoles as I'm trying to stay away from Portables although certain portables I'm still interested in, I would have possibly been interested in the philco Seventeener being I have one in a teal color cabinet, I'll be in Clinton Township , MI and the Roseville, MI area but unfortunately the GPS says Lansing MI is still over a hour away from there and I don't think I'll have enough time to go to Lansing, MI with the other places I have to go Thanks for the offer though!

If you do want to trade for the Philco, I might be able to meet you in Roseville depending on when you're there, but I don't have any consoles I want to trade right now.

(there's a thread about my Philco with pics here: http://videokarma.org/showthread.php...nteener&page=3)

CTC5's and NOS 21FJP22's

I will be bringing 2 Whitby Deluxe sets in Blonde to ETF for sale with functional 21AXP22 crts. There is only one left now. One has sold.

I am going to sell of the two surplus Whitby's at ETF.

Both sets have fairly nice cabinets and are complete but un-restored.

I will also have a Lockhaven CTC5 with a dud CRT for sale at ETF. SOLD

Bring lots of money. The last Whitby Deluxe that sold privately a number of months back went for $550 with an operational 21AX.

If you have any interest, PM me and we can discuss. Pickup either in Milwaukee or at ETF.

In addition I will have 2 NOS Channel Master 21FJP22 rebuilt tubes in original factory cartons for sale if interested.

Sineage

If someone is interested in Sineage, I have a panel from a large Zenith store sign that I sould bring to ETF. It is about 6 feet wide and 3 feet high. I purchased a large fluorescent store sign and took 2 of these panels from the sign. Could be hung on the wall or if you are real energetic, you could back light it and make a lighted sign out of it.
