Early 60's GE B/W Console $20

Sorry about the dark pic.. I was thinking maybe a 1963? Not sure, but I am certain someone out there knows!
Works fine still with a bright and full picture, I picked it up later this Summer at an Estate sale.
Hope someone here could give it a new home!

You're probably right with the year! 23" CRT with a safety glass and no UHF tuner. I wonder if it has the big oval speaker?

I had relatives who owned a GE TV very similar to this one. Theirs had a twenty-one inch CRT, no UHF, and the large oval speaker below the screen. It wouldn't have surprised me if the set had a hi-fi audio system, with a 6BN6 detector and 6BQ5 output tube, to go with that speaker. This TV should have had (or perhaps it does have) a phonograph input jack, as large as the speaker is and as good as the sound system driving that speaker is as well.
