thrift store Sony Trinitron KV-8ad10 find

Hi all it's been a while but i found this today. I thought it was a recent model sony until i looked on the back and saw a 1989 mfg date, good picture, the diagonal lines only appear in photographs not while viewing. Logan

I have an extreme weakness for Sony color sets, or generally small screen CRT color sets, nine inch or smaller.

check the power on/off control for the relay click. I've seen these develop a fault where the switching transistor that controls the power on/off relay blows, and the set remains "on" with a black screen, but no video appearing off.
