Two quick questions , What size is the crt and does the tuning eye work with the TV as well as the radio , or is it for radio tuning only ?

Hey Keith ,

Thank You for the message about the screen size . I was hoping for it to be smaller (I didn't notice at first the rectangular picture tube , I was thinking maybe it was a 12LP4 or such) and I wish you the best of luck finding it a new home .

Looking to go to phase 2 and offer this up on CL or EB. Any ideas on what the value would be?

Part of the reason it hasn't sold here IMO is the fact that you haven't put a price with it.

That said, somewhere in the range of $50-$100 is average for this set. I paid $60 for my RA-113 unrestored.

Thank you, since I am no expert I value the input of those that are.

Yours is actually a lot more rare than mine....mine doesn't have the AM radio section to the left, and the cabinet is smaller. Unfortunately, that doesn't play much on the price.

Right now with the cold gripping most of the US (it's 1 degree here in Buffalo this morning), now isn't the optimum time to sell. I'd list it locally or on ebay in about a month or so. Or maybe someone will end up picking it up here, you never know. Right now everyone's hunkered down waiting for some warmth.

The only thing warm around here is my soldering iron , which is keeping me sane for the time being!
