As found is fine. I'm looking for the "rectangularest" model, as shown. Hopefully a mostly complete one.

I have two of them in my collection. One is like the set shown in the picture. The other one is a wooden cabinet with a built on turntable. Both sets have a semi-unitized chassis made of aluminum. I don't think they ever made a set that was transformerless. One of the negatives is that they used National Video CRT's which were allways weak.

Hmmm... Now that I think about it, those were not the best of CRT's!
Can't say I ever saw the turntable model.

I have one just like your Avatar, it had a bad CRT though, I put one in that is the wrong number and it doesn't work correctly, it may be adaptable but I haven't really tried. (it needs a 19BRP4 I think)

I'd be willing to part with the set for practically nothing (or nothing) but the shipping from CA to FL would be killer.

I could send it without the tube which would make it much lighter.

I have that model but it is a really rough example, looks like somebody really beat it up. It does work, though it might have some bugs to work out. I would consider it a last resort.

Hmmmm.... I have a brand-new 19CUP4, but the operating parameters are quite different, especially on G2! The 'BRP4 is rated at 300v, while the 'CUP4 says 65v.
Raster cutoff is a negative voltage on the 'BRP4 (-35/-72), while the 'CUP4 says 25/50. And I would be clueless as to how to adapt it, without a peek at a schematic. I agree on shipping it tubeless!! Are you sure about the tube number?
The more I look at the differences between the tubes, the more I think there is no swap. And, on further discussion with other, those two tubes are incompatible. There are seven substitures listed for the 19BRP4, BTW.

I don't know how common a 19BRP is but I've never run across one in the years I've had this set. I don't remember what tube I put in it but the operating voltages were different, it comes on but there is a giant dark spot from the center outward, it almost looks like the phosphors are blown off but I think it has more to do with the way the gun focuses on the screen.

Perhaps you could make one out of two, my cabinet and chassis which is in good shape and Bgadow's CRT?

(LOL) Now there's a possibility!
Maybe one of these would work better:
19AFP4
19AUP4
19BMP4
19CZP4
19DAP4
19DKP4
19DRP4 is listed as a "might work"...
