FS or trade--Leader LCG-396 NTSC pattern generator.

Just upgraded to the LCG-400, and am going to pass on my older unit.

Great working condition, good physical shape with the tilting bail handle.

Generates composite video out (1V P-P into 75 ohms) or Channel 3/4 RF output.
Full or split field EIA bars, dot/crosshatch, RGB raster. Will include .pdf of manual. Pics available.

Asking $50. Will consider trades. PM me here for info. Thanks!

Out of curiosity, what's the difference between a 396 (which I have) and a 400?

I use mine a bunch. Wish it made output on channels 3/4 rather than 5/6, but otherwise a very handy unit..

The 400 is the higher end model, targeted more at the TV studio/production house than the service shop market.

17" wide (with ears for rackmounting), it has a couple additional patterns (a grid with circle, great for linearity checks), and multiple inputs/outputs for sync, blanking, black burst, H and V drive, genlock, etc.

Optional modules provide video sweep/marker or multiburst output.
