Free 21-Inch Crosley Console TV

I have this rough but working mid-1950s Crosley 21-inch set that is free for the taking. The cabinet needs a bunch of work. Model F-21COLH. I will throw in a photocopy of the Sams for it. Pick up in Sullivan, MO or I can bring it to St. Louis for pick up.

Click on the photos for larger versions.

Dang, I'd really, really like to pick that up from you, but it would unfortunately cost me nearly $50 in gas.

Had one almost like that back in the 90's.......would still have it if some idiot hadn't of pushed it back into a wall and snapped the neck off the pic tube.

Why couldn't this be in Springfield? I'd be willing to drive to Springfield for it.

You know, the more I think about it, that model Crosley should make somebody one heck of a nice TV set. I sure wish it were close to TN!

The one I had performed like a champ and had a fantastic picture. I recall all I had to do to get it back up to snuff was to replace a handful of capacitors along with some minor adjustments. I played it pretty regularly in the shop for several years.

Last call. If nobody claims it by this weekend the set will be broken apart and tossed.

It would be a shame to crunch a UHF set...At least make sure to save the CRT; you can't get them rebuilt anymore, and it is only a matter of time before someone will need that jug.

If you were near Milwaukee I'd be tempted.

Perhaps you could keep it the winter and bring it to the ETF meet. I did that with a B&W console and two table tops I was tired of last year, and got rid of them all.
