Wanted Zenith adjustable choke for convergence board.

I've got a Zenith 20X1C38 chassis TV with a damaged convergence adjustment coil that I'd like to get a replacement for. Zenith part number is S-58038. It crosses to Merit MWC-6, Miller 6322, Stancor WC-8A, Thordarson Meissner WC-52, Triad WLC-5, and Workman T107.

It is an adjustable 2.25-5.9mH inductor. I'd prefer chassis mount.

I'll be at the ETF meet on Saturday if anyone is able to bring one.

If it melted down check the diode pack. Also its a good chance its
the same part right through the hybrid chassis.

Nope the plastic form got destroyed while the set was waiting for a new CRT that I put in a few months back. It still has continuity, but I can't adjust it properly with the form destroyed and the windings loose, so it is stuck with lousy right RG vertical convergence until I can find a replacement.

Dunno where you got the Miller cross, but my Miller cross (1973) lists the cross as an H-184.

The 6322 is a width coil, according to my manual.

A Google search on your S-58038 number came up with Talon:

The cross came from that bastion of accuracy(sarcasm) the Sam's Photofact for the set. Thanks for the link I'll look into it.

I have a Merit MWC-6 according to my inventory sheet. Send me a PM or email if you want it; reimbursement for postage would be appreciated.
