I think it was the same one that was bid up to 250, and did not meet the reserve, seems like a lot (250) for an unknown condition and a set with a brightner on it, think he should have taken the money and ran last time (IMHO).

Link has ".looks" hanging off the end - makes eBay choke and error out. I put the item # in and found this:

I've been down the Katy freeway before...

If the price was right, that would be a nice set. I have a rare earth 21FBP22 (grey face) and that cabinet would look great with a fresh gloss black paint job. All the trim would polish up nice too. But, it's too far for me and I wouldn't want to pay more than 75 bucks for it as is.

The seller has a reserve on it.... hopefully nothing crazy.... especially considering it's in need of a CRT. So far, my experiences of acquiring sets on this side of Texas have been pretty good in regards to pricing.

Wow... I think it's kinda funny how one person can sit there and keep hitting the BID button... over and over and over... and rack up over 30 bids in such a short period of time... several days before the auction even ends.

I picture it in my mind.... person places a bid and the screen immediately says "You've been outbid! Don't let it get away... bid again!" Person sits there staring at the screen... while the BID AGAIN button slowly blinks at them and quietly whispers "Go ahead... click me again... you just might get it this time."

Sweat is starting to bead up on the person's brow. They are drumming their fingers on the table next to the keyboard. The camera zooms in to the blinking BID AGAIN button, then switches to a set of slightly blood-shot eyes staring at the screen, and back to the button again. You can hear the tick-tock of the wall clock getting louder and louder. A very shaky finger is headed towards the mouse button. With a loud echo, you hear a deep CLICK.

The screen says "You've been outbid!"

Sorry... imagination starting to run away with me lately... been watching too many movies! Been sitting here at home with little to do for the past week while recovering from some uncomfortable surgery.

But really, it's kinda funny how some people bid.
