Hey Rob. I don't know if this will help but might be worth a try, from etf classifieds. Its over a year old and he was only wanting to sell as a lot but still worth checking.....

I have about 25 old Televisions and related items as well as many radios and broadcasting equipment from the 20s on. I am liquidating over 50,000 collectibles from a private collector and sell in bulk to collectors and dealers. Also have about 5,000 Television and Radio paper, manuals, ads, books, magazines etc....from the 20s and 30s.

One TV is an RCA projection TV from 1949 in a chest like cabinet as well as apparently one of the first color TVs. Have no time to deal with all the collectibles and wish to sell the entire lot to one individual.

I know this ad is vague but have little time to deal with the TVs and Radios. Located in Toronto.

If you can't find one in Canada, you're welcome to have it shipped to my house in Buffalo....

So the trouble finding a porta-potty was due to the asinine "U.S. shipping only" rule imposed by so many sellers? By the way, some sellers won't even sell to you if you're willing to have it shipped to a U.S. address first. Some will go so far as to block those from other countries from even seeing their listings. Whether they can do that if you're not logged in/eBought cookies cleared I don't know. Worst case scenario, you may have to send the purchase/U.S. shipping cost to a U.S. member and have that person make the purchase.

I use Kinek. Two hour drive to the border, and have everything shipped there. Shipping is waaaay cheaper and it eliminates the no shipping to Canada issue.

Wait until I have about three or four things to pickup and the savings in shipping covers my gas three times over. I have only had one set damaged and it was because of poor packing on the sellers side. Worth considering.

You ought to use this thread's title in your sig, and perhaps even boldface it. More exposure that way.

Robb,

I have a Portacolor I'm willing to let go reasonably. I'm in Massachusetts. Is that close enough?

You can send me an email at m2warshaw at aol dot com. I'm happy to send a few photos. It was working, but seemed to need attention.

Just curious Rob, what's the problem with shipping. Virtually all of my sets have come from the North Eastern US and all but one have arrived to Montana in great condition. Limiting yourself to a two hour drive from Toronto, and no shipping makes it a very difficult find. Hope you find what you are looking for eventually!
