sets and stuff for sale

I'm moving back to MI in a couple weeks, I really don't have time to pack and ship stuff, so don't even ask. This is all pick up only.

1. 1950 RCA 6T65 / KCS47 - 16GP4 is ok, basically works but still has problems with horizontal linearity and sound IF. - $40

The pictures don't show it, but I do have all the knobs.

2. Zenith color test jig with a box of adapters - $20

5. 1980 GE AM/FM clock radio with red led display, works, - $5

6. 2 12LP4's, both test good - $50 ea.

7. Heathkit o-scope - free

I can't believe I got no takers? Well, I'm moving up to Kalamazoo, MI over the weekend. And most of this stuff will still be for sale there. I'm actually thinking about putting up quite a few more sets for sale when I get there too.

I'd love to have both the 12LP4s and I can make it out to Kalamazoo now that I spent a bundle to get my car fixed.

Sorry, I just noticed you need a 12LP4 too and have first dibs.

I'm in Chicago. It'll be about a 350 mi round trip for me to Kalamazoo. Ann Arbor is about another 100 miles east of Kalamazoo.

Perhaps if I pick up both 12LP4s I could drop one off at your place on the way back.

i live in mish ind. off 20 bypass about a mile, if he drives 31 to 20 bypass to 131 north he could go right by me ,need to find witch way he's going to kazoo . i might be a shorter trip for you banderson. there is a meijer right off 20 bypass ,if you want to check the picture tube my truck has 1000 watt invertor in it we test both tubes at meijer and you wouldnt have drive all the way up to kalamzoo

I probably won't be able to stop. I'll be driving the largest u-haul you can get, towing my wife's car behind it. And she'll be driving my Mercury following me with our 2 cats. I don't want to get off the highway anymore than I have to. And it's 12-13 hour drive as it is. But I can probably get away after we get there and unload the truck, and go swap some stuff.

Either way, I'm considering both the 12LP4s sold, we'll figure out how to transport them once I get to MI.

And I'm thinking I'm going to put a lot more sets up for sale when I get there too.

I don't mind the drive - it's nice to get out of the city once and a while I'm curious to see what else you might have for sale too.

That's an impressive collection, Adam. It's a shame you have to give it up, but if you're going to be moving again (!) next summer, I guess they have to go. However, I think you still have part of your collection somewhere out West, in California, if I remember correctly. Why not just have these TVs shipped out there and stored until you can get to them?

BTW, if you don't mind my asking, what line of work are you in that makes you relocate so often? Seems to me you're moving, on average, about once a year (your last move, if memory serves me correctly, was from the Detroit area to where you are now, in Memphis). I bet you're waiting for the day when you can move somewhere and stay put, instead of having to pull up stakes and move every year or so.
