Parting out B/W Emerson 1032 14"

This set has no peticular appeal to me and has too many little things that add up to "Pass on this restore" for me. (Like a bad wood cabinet, caps, electrolytics, 12SN7, bad yoke plastic; you know the usual but, all at one time.) The dis-integrating wood cabinet is really the main issue. The 14HP4 CRT is great and with a bunch of subbed parts during testing there is noise on screen and in sound. HV is good and has H. sweep un aided. I believe this has a lot of parts to offer to keep other sets in better condition going. Will sell whole or pieces. I have enjoyed the thrill of the chase in troubleshooting but economics dictate that my resources be reserved for a better candidate in the future.

Does anyone know if a 14HP4 will sub a 14BP4?
I need the latter for a Bakelite Emerson.

Edit: never mind, I see one is Magnetically focused and one is Electrostatically focused

It should sub OK. You just have to remove the focalizer or focus coil.
P.S. I'm looking for a CRT myself, for that same Emerson set.
