Ouch!

If you can't get rid of enough you could always donate some to the ETF to save them from hitting the curb.

Good luck to you.

Sorry to hear about the divorce, I went through one along with my collection in 2005. Hang on, there are good times on the other side. Just tough it out and you'll get there. PM me if you want to talk about it.

As for the sale items, I live on the west coast, so even though you have a couple of gems, I can't get there to pick up. Waaah.

I was in your boat 4 years ago, and had to sell BOTH of my CT-100s (I had two), and just about every other valuable set that I had.

There is life after, my friend, and it's usually better . You end up leaner and meaner with your interests, but it ends up purging your "never get around to it" stuff. If you need to talk, I'm here for ya

A bit of friendly advice here.......fire sales are never the way to go. You'll end up taking far less than everything's worth, and end up putting things to the curb that you'll regret.

Here's my suggestion......

Organize a post in here with pics of each set, and a price for each set. If you're gonna try to catch fish, you have to put a worm on the hook

Otherwise, we won't have any idea of what it is you have, other than model numbers. Sure, I know what a 630TS looks like, and I want one, now's your opportunity to make my mouth water

Was there 4 years ago, and now vs then is two different worlds. Ive started collecting in the last year and there is no way she would have tolerated it. So hang in there, and try and keep a few at least, and keep your interest going.

Couldn't you just rent a storage unit and stick them all in there until the storm passes?

I've never been through a divorce, so I don't know.

If this IS like it sounds, get an appraisal to satisfy the sharks. Use an antique and collectible appraiser who thinks any tv not that's NOT a perdicta or radio NOT a Fada Catalin is worthless and you come clean after a nominal buyout.

Been There too and the Hobby survived.
