FS: NOS Flybacks and Yokes

I have the following NOS Halldorson(numbers same as Thordarson) flys and yokes available. All marked 1968 stock, so don't expect them to look like they were made yesterday. They show normal signs of age, like plastic discoloration and some cracking on plastic coatings. I can look them over, ohm out the coils, and even email pictures if you're patient. Asking $20 each or 2 for $30, or make an offer on a larger qty. All plus actual postage. Please post here what you'd like, then pm with address/payment info. I can take paypal if you send as personal with no fees, otherwise MO or cash is fine.

Fly 23
Fly 29
Fly 59 (2)
Fly 80
Fly 130
Fly 139
Fly 144
Fly 204 (2)
Fly 205
Fly 223 (2)
Fly 227
Fly 229
Fly 232
Y4 (2)
Y8 (2)
Y12 (RAM Y70F30)
Y17
Y24
Y27
Y29
Y36

I also have one Fly 109, but it has a broken phonolic board. Can likely be repaired. $10

Thanks

Kevin

Are these likely useless numbers that I should throw in the recycle pile? Anyone know if Halldorson Fly and Y numbers correspond to Thordarson?

I would guess that the FLY and Y numbers are the same. It would be sooooo confusing if they weren't! If so, definitely don't recycle them. I'm looking for a FLY-137 and FLY-221. Doesn't look like you have them

I'll keep my eyes open for those. I have a way of stumbling onto this stuff.

Definitely don't toss them, just because they don't sell quickly dosen't mean they won't be needed eventually.

I'd like to see a picture of the FLY 80 if that would be possible, I have some Raytheon sets and if it's correct for them I'd buy it.

Here you go.

You can see how the plastic on these grows the same white stuff that we find on knobs.

I found a box of focus controls (I think) and they were mixed, about half were Thordarson and the other half Halldorson. They were the same part number and, from all I could tell, identical in every way. My guess is they were the same company but I don't really know.

That’s what I was wondering; if possibly Halldorson was bought out or somehow turned into Thordarson. I've seen reference to early Halldorson numbers on SAM’s literature, and they never had FLY or Y numbers in the early days.

Mike,

I've been attempting to both pm and email you the shipping amount for the Fly 3 with no reply.

Here's the info:

It weighs 1 lb 10 oz's boxed up. USPS website says $7.90 for priority, 7.02 pacel post. This is with no insurance. Insurance is $1.75 if you would like it. Let me know what you want to do.

If you've changed your mind, that is fine, I would just like to know.

Thanks

Kevin
