A Sylvania Halolight TV especially if it is a 21C502 console. I grew up with one of these sets and would love to find one again, and restore it. wjb122750@hotmail.com. I'm in Omaha, NE.

Rather than confine stuff you want to just this thread, if there's something that you really want, I bet it'd get more visibility to put a one or two liner in your signature.

That way, every post you make shows what you want. Better exposure that way

Good idea Kamakiri. Gonna hafta look into doing this later today. My attempts to cobble together a working Singer TV6U have ended up lying allover the workbench...for like SIX MONTHS now, and I REALLY want to see one of those RUNNING....with an actual TUNER (I've seen three now with the same "no tuner" problem).

I'm looking for a B&K Television Analyst, preferably a model 1077B, that tops my "want list!"
My "wish list" is a 19" RCA, COLOR Portable, around a CTC-36 or was it CTC-53? Has series string filament tubes, hard to remember chassis model number, been over 30 years ago since I was last "inside" one! :-) Best if it works at least a little bit! Also wouldn't mind a Japanese color tv,table model, tube chassis, 15, 17, or 19" screen, such as Panasonic, Sharp, Sanyo, etc. BTW, I plan to be at the ETF MEET in May 17th (evening) and the 18th with a table! Cheers all!

Admiral Color FLY

Looking for a 79D110 flyback for a Admiral color console.
A pull would be fine. This was in almost dayly use till the smoke was let out. The CRT is very good and I hate to trash it. I could part it out but the shipping for anything these days is wallet toxic. If I can get a Fly for it there is a guy that might want the set. Although tis set is only slightly before my time, I worked for a Admiral dealer in the late 60s to almost 80s and Admiral sets were known for great pictures, vivid yellows, and more selective tuners.
Thanks for checking your junk box catacombs and parts chassis.

Dave

Hey Dave,
Fingers crossed someone will have one, but did you give Moyers a call?
They were mainly an RCA dealer, but I think they have/had Thordarson flys.
You'd need to know the Thordarson referance number tho, but perhaps Moyers can match it to the Admiral number?

I would love to just own one vintage TV, a wooden tabletop from the 40's that can be restored with no major damage or a shot CRT.

Our family had an RCA CTC-7 Abington with the mahogany wood grained metal cabinet. We got it back in 1962 and watched alot of the early color programming in Chicago. Just as I learned electronics in the Air Force in 1973, my father tossed out the set. I've been looking for one ever since.

I'm with BigSky......but I would even just settle for a beautiful running tabletop chassis. The cabinets of course look nice, but I really love seeing the glowing chassis with the picture on front of the CRT.

I wouldn't mind restoring a dirty 'ol chassis that had some life in it...and display THAT
