WTB: GE 810 TV cabinet

Looking for a GE 810 cabinet with wood and veneer mostly intact and restorable. Don't care about front panel, as I have a decent one.

I am restoring an 810 right now, and the chassis is up and running very nicely. The cabinets I have available have some serious issues. Would like to have something better to work with.

Cabinet without chassis should be light enough to ship for less than an arm and a leg.

Anyone out there have one they might part with? For example, if you've got one with a miserable front panel, or nonrestorable chassis, I'd love to get your cabinet!

Still looking for this cabinet. Didn't hear anything further from Bryan, so perhaps that lead is not going to work out. Anybody else have one they might part with?

Okay, okay...finally got off my duff and took some pictures. Had some stuff to move out of the way.

The top is the worst. I bought this one sight-unseen; at least I only gave $15. If Tom can't use it, anybody else have an interest in all or part? The crt is weak.

Do you have any of the knobs ? Is the CRT a 10FP4 ? If so, I'm interested in it if it has any more life than the one in my GE 802 which is just about dead.

Hi Bryan,

Thanks very much for the pictures, and my apologies for not being sufficiently patient!

From what I can see in your pictures, it looks like the top would probably need to be reveneered, but the veneer on the sides is OK. Is that correct?

Any deep dents or scratches on the sides or front edge molding?

Your cabinet just might be better to work with than what I've got here.
