Century Picture Tube Tester

A coworker of mine recently found this at a flea market and gave it to me. Century piciture tube tester model 102. It has two lights, one says emit and one says short. All that's inside is the potentiometer, a few resistors, and a transformer.

I can't find any info on it. Anybody familiar with it or how old it is?
