Smile Another new addition

Hi - I'm Glen Richards, in Irving TX. I'm not a newbie at restoring vintage equipment, but it's been 25 years since I've actively done any work (and so much has changed that I might as well be a newbie! ).

I'm looking forward to listening and learning from everyone here!

Glen

Welcome. A good friend and contributor here is relearning a lot of electronics with a rare RCA color set. It's like riding a bicycle; you never completely forget!

Glad to have you on the forum. Just like me I gave up electronics repair as an income about 23 years ago, then I guess I missed the challenge of getting the old stuff going again. So, now I am back just doing this as a hobby, enjoying repairing and "smelling" the old tube stuff fire up again. At least now there is no time schedule, no customers waiting in line pushing to get their sets back, just taking my time, recapping, cleaning, adjusting and replacing parts, getting the best pictures and sound that I can out of stuff some as old as I am. PS, I'm almost 65.
