What was the ISA colour TV system?

Reading the posts about the arrival of colour television in Italy lead me to find mention on the web of Italy's ISA colour system ...ultimately not adopted as the Italian standard (PAL won out).

Does anyone know anything about this system ... was it a variation on NTSC like PAL or more like SECAM or ?????

<<... After this took place parentheses other prevarications even if it was now
quite clear that the P.A.L. had won the "campaign of Italy", but that was not
the last word because in 1975 the INDESIT Turin did know that they have developed,
in collaboration with the SEIMART, their own system, the ISA
(Identification Elimination Alternata) Engineer Ballabeni of SEIMART
declared that it was the alternative to national and foreign proposals that would
resolved, both the long-running problem of choice, both the duty to pay royalties
due to systems P.A.L. or S.E.C.A.M.. By now it was too late even if the new
system was better technically was not under the political point of view - economic
and therefore was abandoned. >>
Here are a few who have news about the system of colour television developed in Italy. the SAIMART was a factory of Italian appliances based in Turin. the SEIMART selling its products under the brand name INDESIT. as well as refrigerators and cookers, produced TV SET in b & w and color. The I. S.A. was (as in all previous systems developed) a trend in the PAL system, as was the PAL for SECAM, and SECAM for NTSC. ISA was precisely was almost a variant of PAL (also stated is too obvious to say the Germans) As Telefunken, godmother of PAL had only a patent for a particular variant of the system, changing the identification system would have fallen even the patent of the house German. For news even the Russians in 1965 had developped their color system. The NIIR, system that was based on the same procedures modulation than American, but they abandoned and they choose the SECAM 3B also known as "SECAM optimalisč"
