5" Panasonic Pop-Up set found.
Found this today at the thrift store, set's in quite good condition overall, one minor thing is the antenna clip has one side broken off, not surprising considering how fragile it is.
It works pretty well but the controls are dirty and the sync is kind of iffy, probably needs some caps though it seems to be improving as I run it. I had another one of these some time back but it was so beat up I parted it out and sold the CRT recently, luckily this one doesn't need it now! It seems to hate Macrovision. |

Kewl... They made one of these in 3", too, but they're like BEYOND Rare... Naturally, that's the one I covet..

Thats a good find. Panasonic made the most pissah sets
back then. Not hard to work on either if you keep the red screws in mind. Probably needs quite a few caps but if its settling down why temp fate ? Panasonic gets an A+ for serviceability both physical & circuit wise. Best from JA land. 73 Zeno |

It has the best deflection of any of my B&W sets. The picture doesn't sag or bow anywhere like the others. It also has a super sharp and clear picture. It's a very impressive black and white set.
