720p and NTSC safe areas

Okay bit of a story here. I bought an old external HDD for $10 at a flea market Whoever owned the drive before me apparently worked in the TV sports broadcasting industry until at least 2005.

Among the files were nostalgic ads and references to players like Ben Wallace, I found some technical files and among those, safe areas for both NTSC and 720p HD. Figured I'd share those. Might be of interest to someone here.

Thanks for the charts.

I'm surprised the content was not deleted.

You might have some Youtube gold on the drive.

Had. I wiped it after looking through it for anything of interest to me. Sports is really not my thing.

Drive also had a bunch of music from probably about every well known artist out there, and some of it was perplexingly saved as uncompressed .WAV files
