I've got about a dozen vintage mechanical Swiss watches all of which were bought for at or under $10 at various antique malls. Some of them include an old Benerus watch from the early 1960s with the date readout at the 6 o'clock position instead of the usual 3 o'clock position and its a 25 Jewel movement, I've also got a couple of Walthams (not a Swiss company but they have Swiss movements in them) and I also have a couple of old Bulovas (also not a Swiss company but one of them does have a Swiss movement in them the other two are from the 1940s and 1950s and where made in America) I also have a several other watches of which I can't think of the brands of them right off the bat.
as for clocks I have several vintage digital, wind up and electric alarm clocks of various different makes and models, I have 3 old wall clocks 2 are wind ups and the other is a Westclox Electric wall clock from the 1950s like what would of been in your classrooms in your old school houses from the 1920s. |

Knew a lot of folks that worked at Waltham in the olden days.
All dead now sorry to say. They built / sold a S load of watches, especially the RR type. Got one somewhere from my great uncle who was a B&M telegrapher at the Ayer / Ft Devens Mass. yards. 73 Zeno LFOD ! |
