What's the smallest 9-pin RS-422 (OEM) controller?

Although I'm perfectly capable of using all the front panel controls on my various pro machines (BVU-870, AG-7750, AU-65H, PVW-2800, AJ-D255), every now and then I think I'd like to have a remote controller on my desk for when I'm perusing a tape. All of these have the typical 9-pin RS-422 connector.

I have a Sony RM-450 which works but I'm not doing any editing at this point so I don't need dual controls and it takes up a fair amount of space.

I also have an old 34-Pin Panasonic remote (AG-A600) which would be almost exactly what I want -- except for the 34-pin part.

I'm not interested in any of the new stuff I'm seeing from the big broadcast sites, I'd really rather have something vaguely contemporary to my gear.

I see one can find some Panasonic controllers (AG-A250, AG-A350, AG-570) on the auction sites but most of those seem to have 25-pin connectors.

Can anyone tell me anything about those Panasonic controllers, or suggest alternate model numbers to look for?
