10 Meter band pretty hot now!
Anybody here paying attention to the 10 Meter band? From the West coast, I am hearing Dx like I have never heard before. Lots of SSB and FM (repeater?) activity. Sunspots must be good !

Yeah it's been pretty good. Still, it doesn't compare to 20m; last night I got S9 report from India on long path.

Even some good openings on 6M. Ill have to check out 10, been so dead I haven't even looked at it lately.

As much fun as 10m can be, it doesn't hold a candle to 20m. Of course, 20m antennas are twice as big and ought to be higher. But that's what ham radio is about, having all the fun you can and doing as much of the setup as you can, yourself.
I worked the Guinea station on 20, nice strong sigs. |
