I know this guy! He lives a few mile from me. He has a huge old house and a huge 2-1/2 car garage litterally filled with tvs, from all the way back up to the door stacked to the celing! No joking! He has 2 campers, both filled with vintage tvs, the entire basement is filled with vintage tvs as is the rest of the house. Yes, they are basically all color sets. He has over 300 sets in his house. This is what he told me when I went to check it out a while back. He has roundies like you wouldnt believe, ctc-9s all kinds of early rare stuff up to the hybrids. He has duplicats of sets. He found most at the curb 10-20 years ago when they were still hanging around for the most part. Lots from estate sales. They are in nice shape too BUT HE DOESNT WANT TO SELL OR LET GO ANY OF THEM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Did I mention he has a second house that is just all vacuum tubes?

House full of TVs--how does he do it?

Holy cow! And I thought I had a lot of old TV sets in the basement (only the basement, and then again only half of it) of my former home in the late 1960s-early 70s! How does this fellow get around in his house with over 300 (!) sets in the place? All I can say is, he'll have a heck of a time of it when or if he has to move and get rid of all those TVs. I know, because I was in the same situation when I moved in 1972--every one of my old sets went out for the trash. To this day I think my neighbors must have gotten the idea I was running a TV repair shop out of my basement!

Kind regards,
