You gotta see this!

My nomination for the most delusional listing ever.

He's just having fun - read the description. I'd offer him 50 cents, but I'm afraid that he would accept and then I'd be hit with the $8.80 for shipping!

$50k? Must be a joke. He'll never sell it at that price, but I bet he'll get some offers well below that figure and just might unload it if he gets a low enough one, say around $5-$10 or even less, as these rewinders were made to sell cheaply. I had a Kinyo-branded VHS rewinder in the '80s I paid a very low price for (don't remember what it was anymore, but I wouldn't be surprised if it was well under $20). The thing quit after about a year.

I've seen this as well every once in a while with some old (but nowhere near rare) TVs listed on eBay, with ridiculously high opening bids and very high shipping charges (if the seller will ship the thing at all; most won't ship a heavy standalone console or table TV, let alone a three-way entertainment center (!), at any price, unless the buyer makes his or her own shipping arrangements -- and even that option will be very expensive, depending on where the item will be shipped and from where).

I would say this is another typo (too many zeros), but even $50 would be too high. He is also selling this rewinder with the wrong AC adapter (if it needs a 12 volt one, that's what should be included with it -- the seller could get a 12v wall wart at Radio Shack easily, unless of course they stopped selling these things when they went out of the consumer electronics business years or decades ago).

Oh well. At least he's being honest when he lists the thing as rare; after all, this rewinder dates back to when Blockbuster was renting VHS videos in the '70s-'80s. To find a rewinder nowadays with the Blockbuster name (or that of any VHS video rental store) on it is indeed rare as, again, VHS rentals are a thing of the past in this age of DVDs. I'm surprised he didn't get into trouble with Blockbuster for failing to return it when he canceled his subscription.

"dont believe me ??? i have a backyard full of yugo's -so now who's laughing"

Someone want to hit the BIN button and see if he finds the sellers fee on $50k amusing.

Is that a true statement regarding the Yugos.
You never know, what will be the next collectable. There's a place in an area near my place that has several Chevettes.
I think they're banking on them becoming valuable.

I have a DVD Rewinder--but it only goes fast enough to rewind PAL DVDs.
