Rescued a National TV10T

About 6 months ago I rescued this from a store who was ready to part it out for the tubes.
Paid $35 for it.
10BP4A tests new on a Beltron unit.
Next up for restoration once the RCA is up and running
Enjoy.

I've been into vintage TV's for many years and can say that is a rare set. One of the nicest early post-war models, but not mentioned often because you rarely see one. I can only recall seeing one other example. Awesome find, the price was a give-away, and a it's a really pretty deco set. Enjoy!

Wow, that's a great save. National only made a handful of TV models, and yours is much scarcer than a 7-inch set like my TV-7W. They have nice build quality.

Smile

I once had the rectangular version with that same chassis. Warning. Wiring is under rated. They even have thin wire on hv rectifier, and, has a tendency for arcing. You constantly hear sizzling off the wiring.
They do have a nice sharp picture, though.
