And (unfortunately) that very problem has come up so many times. I just hope that when I get into my color tube sets (soon) that I remember this problem. It is often a simple problem and I often look for some major issue... that doesn't exist.

BTW, thanks for sharing it with us!

How is the CTC 9's color reproduction compared to the 21CT55?

I haven't seen the sets in operation side by side, but the color is more vivid on the CTC-2 and the picture is sharper. The 9 looks good, but the picture is softer, and the colors not as vivid. Walter?

I will try to find a splitter and and post a picture of both of them working using the same picture on both. The 21CT55 seems to pick up a lot of interference when I use channel 4 for some reason here at my house. Channel 3 produces a clear picture. Generally the 21CT55 seems to have a sharper picture, with more vivid color than the CTC9. Both CRTs test over .9 on all three guns on my Beltron checker. Time for me to head for work, will see what I can do as far as posting this afternoon.
