I have found and fixed the issue with this set. Turned out to be broken solder connections on the luminance module. This set is still available and still free. I've been using it as a daily watcher but I'm moving soon and the wife acceptance factor on this set is very low. I don't want to scrap this set but if nobody wants it I may have no choice.

I'm going to give this one last bump in hopes that someone will give this tv a good home. I will be moving in a few weeks and will probably have no choice but to scrap it if no one takes it. This is a perfect set for somebody that wants a vintage set but doesn't know how to or doesn't want to deal with repairs. It has been my daily watcher for a long time and has no issues to be dealt with. I also have another Chromacolor 2 23 inch set table model in the metal cabinet with the single knob varactor tuner for free. I don't have pictures since it's buried in a storage closet. I have not used it since 2010 but it was working good when I took it out of service.
