Olympic Memories

My wife remembers watching the Olympics on TV when she was three years old.

But she says they didn't have gold and silver medals back then. Everyone got gray medals.

It might be a 12-inch. I modified the image to make the screen image larger. I have the address of the house. It's in Newton, MA. Maybe someone in the Boston area wants to knock on the door and see if the TV set's still there.

Chip Chester,
Did you actually search for that image? Or is one of the weightlifters your uncle? But this proves that my wife was right--as you can see in the original larger image, the number one guy is wearing a GRAY medal.

Google searched it for me. I was curious if it's a composite image, or an actual period photograph. Doesn't matter to me either way, though...
