Finding a decent one nearby me?

Any success with all glass subs if not?

Thanks...

Not near you, but if you really need one, the ETF has two 17TP4 CRTs listed on their CRT page. https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets...uHwnIt/pubhtml

The 17C is a magnetic focus tube, where the 17T is an electrostatic type.
With subs, it depends on the make of the set.

It's a Motorola chassis number, TS326.
IIRC, that chassis used either a 17TP4 or a 17HP4. The later production used the all glass tube.

I've got a 17 inch tube in my warehouse. I can tell you its not an "L" type. Its very old and some of the aquadag has flaked off. Last time I checked it, it had good emission.
Located near Atlanta GA.

An L type is also metal. Mine is glass. See attached. I suppose you can adapt it. You can see there is a small burn in the center of the screen as the monitor it was in had no spot killer circuit. From an old Conrac monitor.
