Hello! Help Please!

I just bought a BEAUTIFUL Mahogany GE television from 1949. It's called a "Daylight" TV? I think it's a a model 821. Can anyone tell me what it's worth? Oh, it works wonderfully and is virtually in mint condition.
THANKS!!!!

It is very difficult to put a value on a lot of old TV sets because the hobby is not well established (yet). One answer is, it is worth what you paid for it! The fact that it is working means a lot.

Please NEVER jump into someone else's thread with unrelated requests such as you have done in the thread about the Philco Predicta.

Also, please don't be so damn impatient. This is the fourth thread you've posted to in just one day asking about the same set. Post ONCE in an appropriate forum, and then sit back and wait for responses. You may have to wait days or even weeks for some topics, because not everyone is sitting at their keyboard just waiting for you to post your query.

Also in some of the threads you've posted in you got the right answers within hours anyway. It is worth exactly what you paid for it. It may be worth $100 on a good day to someone that really wants it. Other days you may be lucky to find anyone interested even for free, especially if you have no collectors nearby.

It is a nice looking clean set, but doesn't have any unusual styling or features that make it worth more than any other TV set of the era. Not an ugly duckling, but not a real treasure either.

Good luck with your set.
