My RCA flip set has about that much on it too. The amazing thing is I haven't put a part in it. Oh, I take that back, one tube.

Those Admirals are well-made. I have a '59 model that's only needed one part replaced (a tube) in over 10 years.

This set was completely recapped. All tubes tested and replaced as needed. I did find a picture tube that tested way better than the one it came with (had a dark picture), so replaced the CRT and that helped tremendously. Clearer/brighter picture. Since the spring, two tubes have failed and replaced those and that's it. She fires right up and I watch it all the time. Watched all the World Series on it. Baseball is the best in B&W!
