TK-11-A camera on *Bay

A little cartoon devil on one shoulder whispers, "Yo, dude -- TV camera -- current bid $9.99!"

The cartoon angel on my other shoulder hisses, "Get a grip. You are missing a few other little items . . . like lenses and the rest of the studio!!"

the missing pieces are in his other auctions...but where are the all important cables??

annoying when they put items that should all go together in seperate auctions......not like you can just go get the missing pieces down at the local electronics store if someone outbid you on the other bits!

I don't have any personal affiliation with the seller, but I thought I would let the group know that he is a reputable antiques dealer and I have had many dealings with him both on and off of ebay. (purchased a lot of cinema equipment from him over the past 4 years). If he isn't showing the cables, then he likely does not have them.

He knows how to pack and crate things properly and they WILL get to you in good condition.

I'm glad I listened to the cartoon angel.

Tidy construction, the way they laid Cs & Rs in rows on boards. Looks like wire wrap pins with the leads soldered as well as wrapped . . . ?

Has many original capacitors.

Simple elegant minimalist lightweight design. Reliable, easy to maintain. Classic late '40's Art Deco styling with old RCA red logo badges, word "Television" in stylish script. Quaint round CRT's for ViewFinder & Camera Control Unit ! The more I see these, the more I like them.

its been pulled, obviously someones offered a lot more privately or it was just a bait and see what its value was....

there was a very weird response from the seller about the lenses being used as ashtrays or something...is he being funny or is he serious...also heaps of the other questions and responses are all gone

i smell something dodgy about it all to be honest...

The Q & A on that CCU auction says that the camera was sold. Responding to someone who said he wanted to buy it for a museum.

The description tells what happened in first auction.
